Three medical doctors abducted

Previous chairman of Edo State Nigerian Med­ical Association (NMA), Dr. Philip Ugbodaga, and two medical doctors whose identi­ties are yet to be known have been reportedly kid­napped.

They were said to have been snatched last Fri­day at Isu Local Govern­ment Area, close Umuaka in Imo State where they had gone to render free therapeutic administrations to a few groups, kindness of a companion who was cham­pioning free restorative ser­vices to individuals from the group.

It was learnt that the occurrence happened when a specific vehicle sus­pected to trailing them requested them to stop. Ugbodaga and different doc­tors were commandingly taken away by the shooters to obscure destination.

At the season of this re­port, the suspected kid­nappers were yet to reach Dr. Ugbo­daga’s crew.

Security offices are as of now exploring the kidnapping, even as relatives were hesitant to remark on the inci­dent.

Convener of Edo Fo­cus, Aiyamenkhue Edok­polor, in an announcement denounced the activity. Edokpolor approached the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Solomon Arase, to swing into ac­tion, salvage Ugbodaga, his partners and capture the culprits.

Additionally responding, immedi­ate past President of the NMA, Dr. Osahon Enab­ulele, who is a piece of Edo Focus said: “It’s truly miserable that our sibling, Dr. Philip Ugbodaga, was captured by some face­less people. I ask all to intensely appeal to God for his quick discharge. I com­mend all on-going endeavors being made to secure his protected discharge.
