Around 20 supporters of the Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, who were arrested on Tuesday, were yesterday, summoned under the watchful eye of a Chief Magistrate’s Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. They were later remanded in jail guardianship over trick and treachery charges.

The blamed were Benson Sunday, Emmanuel Ali, Ukeme Monday, Chibuzor Echina, Charles Eze, Egbo Okechukwu, Chibona Ifion, John Douglas, Ezenwa Alphonus and Wori Endurance. Others included: Chinomere Nwolu, Henry Eze Friday Uzunwa, Igbodo Abio, Akaniyene Uwem, Eni Iboro, Obinna Stephen, Monday Ocha, Obinna Ibekwe and kingsely Ezengorie.

In the interim, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor Nyesom Wike, yesterday, pointed fingers at one another over the master Biafra challenge in the state.

Prior, the state APC Publicity Secretary, Chris Finebone, issued an announcement blaming Wike for subsidizing the gathering through his media assistant, Simeon Nwakaudu. Responding, Nwakaudu, expressed that the APC’s announcement uncovered their association with separatist challenges in Port Harcourt.
