PDP legislators say in spite of the column that took after the affirmation of Rotimi Amaechi yesterday, despite everything they have solid trust in the authority of the senate president, Bukola Saraki. One of the PDP congresspersons, Gershom Bassey who talked with NAN today, said they will keep on supporting Saraki as he confronts his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

“We have had two votes of certainty on him and they stand. He has the certainty of the Senate and there is truly no issue. Regardless of the contradiction between the APC and PDP representatives, nothing has changed.

In vote based system, individuals must have distinctive perspectives and we must express those perspectives. The Senate is a lively one that has a considerable measure of dynamic verbal confrontations; the Senate is not a football group that we all need to play in the same heading,” he said.

Additionally speaking, Senator George Sekibo who presented the request against Amaechi to the Senate kept up that PDP congresspersons were still behind Saraki.
