Police arrest man dressing as lady to defraud People

The Lagos state police command has captured a man who allegedly defrauded a few men while dressed like a lady. The state Police Command’s representative, DSP Joseph Offor, revealed the capture to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) today November sixteenth.

As per Offor, the suspect was captured on Saturday November fourteenth at around 4.30 p.m. while endeavoring to dupe another man.

Offor clarified that the suspect, who bore a lady’s name, Kadijat, was wearing a hijab when he met one Hassimu of No. 25, Iyana Street, Ajegunle and consented to have n issue with him. He said Hassimu had needed to take Kadijat (suspect) home, yet he denied with different reasons.

“While they were dragging themselves at the CMS Bus Stop, policemen from Lion Building who were on watch saw them and interceded. They were taken to the police headquarters for bringing on break of open peace. At the station, Hassimu charged that the suspect had gathered about N15,000 from him with a guarantee to wed him. Hassimu was stunned to hear the admission of the suspect that he is a man masked in ladies’ outfit to dupe men. The suspect admitted that he had been into the business for around two years and that he had duped numerous men in Lagos of unspecified measure of cash. The suspect guaranteed that his genuine name is Hussieni Biyaya from Teke town in Kano State,” Offor cited the suspect as saying.

The police representative said he would be charged to court for professedly imitating ladies with a perspective to swindling men.
